Profile
I am a twenty-six year old Web Developer who lives in Mead, Washington. I specialize in PHP and mySQL with a strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop. I graduated from Spokane Community College in 2006 with a Web Development degree and have been employed as a Graphic Specialist and email architect for a local outdoor retailer for the past four years.

- I started as a floater for JCPenney. I went around the store and gave breaks to the other associates. After they took away the floater position, I was relocated to the Men's department for a while and then transferred into the Traditional department.

- I was first hired as a Graphic Specialist at Mountain Gear. I gather all the product images from the vendors' image bank/FTP sites and color correct images when needed. I gather images for both the website and catalog that gets created in-house. Images need to be in different formats for both. This portion of the job is very deadline driven.
- In late 2007, I took over creating emails that get sent out to the subscribers. This requires making sure that the HTML and CSS is rendered properly in the popular email clients. On an average we send about 12 emails weekly to different subscriber groups.
- In April 2010, my job with Mountain Gear took a different turn. The company is currently developing a new site. I was asked to create the HTML and CSS templates for the new site under a very strict deadline. I followed Adobe Fireworks templates from another co-worker and created all the templates for the new site which included a brand new side for the Customer Service Representatives. Minor JavaScript and jQuery coding was also required.

- I was asked by my former manager at Mountain Gear to use my PHP skills for the Spokane Bikes website. My job was to create the administrative backend and the registration process. This involved PHP, mySQL, and jQuery for the validation process. This site worked along side of a Wordpress blog.
